An exceptional and hard-to-find set of six Mid Century Modern Model 203 dining chairs designed by Arne Vodder for France & Daverkosen, c. 1960s. These iconic chairs are showstoppers from every angle, showcasing sculptural lines, warm teak tones, and extraordinary craftsmanship.  The solid teak frames have been freshly cleaned and oiled, revealing stunning grain patterns throughout. Each chair features Vodder’s signature hinged brass backrest, designed to flex gently as you lean—an elegant detail that enhances both comfort and design integrity.  The chairs retain their original bright blue tweed upholstery, which provides a striking contrast against the teak. Several seats show minor staining and the internal foam has naturally deteriorated over time, giving the next owner a perfect opportunity to re-upholster in a fabric of their choice.  All six chairs retain their original manufacturer and retailer labels, including France & Daverkosen and John Stuart.

Sets of six are rarely available and typically sell for $14K+, underscoring both the rarity and desirability of this model. These are true heirloom-quality pieces—investment-level Danish design that will be treasured for generations.
