This striking pair of Mid Century Modern Clam Shell Chairs was designed by Seymour James Wiener for Kodawood in the 1960s. Featuring sculptural bentwood walnut shells for both seat and back, the chairs have been expertly refinished to highlight the beautiful wood grain and organic curves.

Exceptionally comfortable and rare, these iconic chairs are perfect for collectors and design lovers alike. The frames have been thoughtfully reinforced with metal brackets for added stability.  The original black vinyl upholstery is in very good vintage condition with only minimal signs of wear.  A bold statement for any modern interior—living room, lounge, or office. Sold as a pair.
