Mid Century Modern Sculptural Walnut Cedar Chest by Lane Furniture | Cabinet with Brutalist Style Wood Details, c. 1960s

Mid Century Modern Walnut Cabinet by Lane with a cedar interior and incredible architectural detailing in a brutalist or Brasilia style, c. 1960's.  The front is defined by a dramatic row of elongated carved wood accents, warm walnut grain, and a beautifully curved lower section that gives the piece an almost architectural quality. This piece is perfect for storing linens, blankets, off-season clothing or souvenirs. There is also a 'hidden' felt lined drawer at the bottom of the piece, perfect for keepsakes. This fabulous piece makes the perfect addition to any modern interior - place it by a window as a lovely seating and storage area or at the foot of a bed.  Lovely vintage condition, with minimal wear from age and us; the top white inlay does not appear to be original.
